Fordham All Saints CE Primary School

We are the fundraising committee for the school.  We consist of a group of parents who meet on a regular basis to discuss ideas and plan events.   We have great backing from the headteacher, teachers and all support staff.

We have a yearly schedule of events that include the Christmas and Summer Fayres, Easter Tea, Discos and Film Afternoon. We are always looking for new ideas for raising money whilst adding a social element to school life.

Over recent years we have funded big projects such as the school Trim Trail, Outdoor Classroom and revamped the wildlife area. We have also been able to assist with the purchase of smaller essential items, such as books and iPads. Each year we make a contribution to the Year 6 leavers event and try to support as many requests for spending as possible.

For the bigger events we need a small army of people to help out with stalls and setting up etc.  However, we appreciate time is precious especially when trying to manage family and work life.  If you can’t bake cakes but can donate raffle prizes then that’s brilliant.  If you join the committee but can’t make all the meetings, then that’s no problem. At the end of the day, every little helps towards enhancing our children’s school experience, either through the events we put on or the additional opportunities our fundraising can offer for the school.
